Day 1: Nairobi

Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met by our airport representative and transferred to your city hotel for overnight. Our rep will take you through a brief pre-safari orientation before embarking on your dream safari adventure of Kenya. Dinner on own arrangement. Overnight in Nairobi SAROVA STANLEY HOTEL.

Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park.

Breakfast and drive to Amboseli. After crossing the frontier town of Namanga, on the border with Tanzania, the semidesertic landscape brings us to the Amboseli National Park to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive includes searching for the Big Five, elephants, Buffalos, lions, Rhinos and leopards and the great view of Mount Kilimanjaro before returning to your lodge as the sun sets! Dinner and overnight – AMBOSELI SERENA LODGE.

Day 3: Amboseli – Mount Kenya  National Park

Breakfast and drive to Aberdares with lunch in Nairobi. Proceed on driving through Kikuyu land and onward through the lush tea and coffee plantations to the Mount Kenya National Park. You will arrive at Mount Kenya Safari Club in the late afternoon . Dinner and overnight at MOUNT KENYA SAFARI CLUB(FAIRMONT). Distance: Approx. 450 kms – 6 hrs drive

Day 4: Mount Kenya – Samburu Game Reserve

Breakfast and commence drive nd crossing the equator at Nanyuki, en route to Samburu National Reserve. Lunch at the respective Lodge. Late afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at SAROVA SHABA LODGE or similar. Distance: Approx. 200 kms – 4  hrs drive

Day 5: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park

Breakfast and depart for Lake Nakuru national park to arrive for lunch. The afternoon game drive is included and you will return to your lodge as the sun sets! Dinner and overnight – SAROVA LION HILL or similar

Distance: Approx. 200 kms – 3 hrs drive

Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda lake, renowned for its huge concentration of flamingos.  It is also a Rhino sanctuary. You embark on a game drive which includes a walk on the shores of the lake to view flamingoes from close range. Keep your eyes open for the elusive Leopard or the Tree climbing lions of this park.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast climb the Western Escarpment of the Rift Valley and head towards Maasai Mara.  With its vast open plains and distinctive flat-topped acacia trees, no visit to Kenya would be complete without a visit here. Enjoying views of the picturesque Maasai tribesmen herding cattle on the way, you arrive in time for lunch and a well deserved rest! Afternoon game drive includes searching for the Big Five, elephants, Buffalos, lions, Rhinos and leopards, before returning to your lodge as the sun sets! Dinner and overnight at SAROVA GAME CAMP or similar.

Day 7: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

The early morning calm air of the Maasai Mara has made possible the introduction of Hot Air Balloon flights, available as an optional tour of a hot air balloon ride to see the park from a bird’s eye view, from leading lodges and camps in the reserve. (Please reserve early to avoid disappointment for this adventure!). Pre-breakfast morning game drive in the reserve, a great opportunity to explore the vast flora and fauna of this magnificent reserve.  After a rewarding game drive, return to your lodge for late morning breakfast. Lunch and late afternoon Game viewing drive.

OPTION: A full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes (full day game drive including visits to Mara River, Kenya Tanzania Border Post and a great chance to view the “Big Five”. You will have picnic lunch close to the Hippo Pool. Return to your lodge late in the afternoon). Later just relax or visit the nearby Maasai village as an optional excursion. Dinner and overnight at

SAROVA GAME CAMP.

 Day 8: Maasai Mara – Nairobi & Depart

Depart after breakfast and journey back to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Later transferred to the Airport for your departure flight.
