Your Safari Itinerary – 5 nights / 6 days
Routing ( 1 night Amboseli, 1 night Lake Naivasha ,1 night Lake Nakuru, 2 nights Maasai Mara, Nairobi & depart)
Day 1: 2014: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park.
Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met by our airport representative and transferred to a city hotel for briefing. Our representative will take you through a brief pre-safari orientation before embarking on your dream safari adventure of Kenya. Proceed on driving south towards Amboseli. After crossing the frontier town of Namanga, on the border with Tanzania, the semidesertic landscape brings us to the Amboseli National Park to arrive in time for lunch.
Afternoon game drive includes searching for the Big Five, elephants, Buffalos, lions, Rhinos and leopards and the great view of Mount Kilimanjaro before returning to your lodge as the sun sets! Dinner and overnight – AMBOSELI OLTUKAI LODGE or similar.

Day 2: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha
Breakfast and drive to Lake Naivasha with lunch in Nairobi. Remainder of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at LAKE NAIVASHA SOPA or similar Distance: Approx. 340 kms – 6 hrs drive

Lake Naivasha is surrounded by stands of papyrus and is a bird-watchers paradise. Waterbirds exists in great variety and abundance and over 400 birds have been recorded on the lake. Fish eagles and ospreys, herons and egrets, lily-trotters, red-knobbed coots and black crakes can be found within the area of this beautiful lake, which also supports around 500 resident hippos and introduced sport fish including the Nile perch, the North American red swamp crayfish and various aquatic plants.
Excursions possible from Naivasha include visits to Hell’s Gate National Park, have a boat ride on Lake Naivasha and visit the Crescent Island, a curious peninsula /archipelago, depending on the lakes’ water level, which is filled with different species of herd animals and one is able to freely walk around the island. Also a visit to Elsamere, former home of Joy Adamson and a little further past Elsamere, the emerald green Crater Lake. This is one of the best places in the area to see Black and White Colobus monkeys and there is also fantastic swimming.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park
Breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing & bird watching. Dinner and overnight at SAROVA LION HILL or similar. Distance: Approx. 100 kms – 1.5 hrs drive

Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda lake, renowned for its huge concentration of flamingos. It is also a Rhino sanctuary. You embark on a game drive which includes a walk on the shores of the lake to view flamingoes from close range. Keep your eyes open for the elusive Leopard or the Tree climbing lions of this park. The afternoon game drive is included and you will return to your lodge as the sun sets!
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast commence drive west past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the respective Lodge / Camp. Late afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight –
MARA SAROVA CAMP or similar.

Day 5: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
The early morning calm air of the Maasai Mara has made possible the introduction of Hot Air Balloon flights, available as an optional tour of a hot air balloon ride to see the park from a bird’s eye view, from leading lodges and camps in the reserve. (Please reserve early to avoid disappointment for this adventure!). Pre-breakfast morning game drive in the reserve, a great opportunity to explore the vast flora and fauna of this magnificent reserve. After a rewarding game drive, return to your lodge for late morning breakfast. Lunch and late afternoon Game viewing drive.
OPTION: A full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes (full day game drive including visits to Mara River, Kenya Tanzania Border Post and a great chance to view the “Big Five”. You will have picnic lunch close to the Hippo Pool. Return to your lodge late in the afternoon). Later just relax or visit the nearby Maasai village as an optional excursion. Dinner and overnight at
SAROVA MARA GAME CAMP .

Day 6: Maasai Mara – Nairobi & Depart
After breakfast at the Lodge/Camp, embark on your return journey to Nairobi. On arrival in the early afternoon you will be dropped off in Nairobi (use of room is excluded). Transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for scheduled International departure flight, 03 HOURS PRIOR TO FLIGHT DEPARTURE TIME. Distance Approx. 270kms – 5hrs drive
