Your Safari Itinerary – 4 nights / 5 days
Routing (1 night Aberdares, 1 night Lake Nakuru, 2 nights Maasai Mara, Nairobi & depart)
Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdares National Park
Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met by our airport representative and transferred to your city hotel for briefing. Our rep will take you through a brief pre-safari orientation before embarking on your dream safari adventure of Kenya. Commence drive to Nyeri for lunch at Aberdare Country Club. Afternoon transfer, in Hotel shuttle vehicles, into the Aberdare National Park – to the Ark, for a night of game viewing, from the Lodge precincts. Dinner and overnight at THE ARK or similar. Distance: Approx. 200 kms – 3hrs drive

Day 2: Aberdares – Lake Nakuru National Park
Breakfast and shuttle transfer to Aberdare Country Club. Rejoin your driver/guide and depart for the Rift Valley arriving for lunch at a Lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park. Late afternoon game viewing & bird watching. Dinner and overnight at FLAMINGO CAMP or similar
Distance: Approx. 200 kms – 4 hrs drive

Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda lake, renowned for its huge concentration of flamingos. It is also a Rhino sanctuary. You embark on a game drive which includes a walk on the shores of the lake to view flamingoes from close range. Keep your eyes open for the elusive Leopard or the Tree climbing lions of this park. The afternoon game drive is included and you will return to your lodge as the sun sets!
Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast commence drive west past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the respective Camp. Late afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner & overnight at OL – MORAN TENTED CAMP or similar.

Day 4: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
The early morning calm air of the Maasai Mara has made possible the introduction of Hot Air Balloon flights, available as an optional tour of a hot air balloon ride to see the park from a bird’s eye view, from leading lodges and camps in the reserve. (Please reserve early to avoid disappointment for this adventure!). Pre-breakfast morning game drive in the reserve, a great opportunity to explore the vast flora and fauna of this magnificent reserve. After a rewarding game drive, return to your lodge for late morning breakfast. Lunch and late afternoon Game viewing drive.
OPTION: A full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes (full day game drive including visits to Mara River, Kenya Tanzania Border Post and a great chance to view the “Big Five”. You will have picnic lunch close to the Hippo Pool. Return to your lodge late in the afternoon). Later just relax or visit the nearby Maasai village as an optional excursion. Dinner and overnight at OL – MORAN TENTED CAMP.

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Nairobi & Depart
After breakfast at the Lodge/Camp, embark on your return journey to Nairobi. On arrival in the early afternoon you will be dropped off in Nairobi (use of room is excluded). Transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for scheduled International departure flight, 03 HOURS PRIOR TO FLIGHT DEPARTURE TIME. Distance Approx. 270kms – 5.5hrs drive

Please note;
Luggage limit of one soft bag per person during travel in Kenya. Hard cases should be avoided as they cannot fit in safari vehicles
